The proof is in the pudding as they say, and DISTRKCT IS Foundation has proven not only why it is a highly wanted program addition, but more specifically why it is needed in our community. For our students, being part of our programming and community is a privilege. Because of this, we have seen school-wide improvements which greatly impact their overall learning experience.

We have been able to take our students from an average attendance rate of 67% to 97% with many students saying this progamming is the main reason they come to school.

Community Building

At DISTRKCT, students learn to collaborate and work closely in an effective and respective manner. Whether you're writing, filming, producing, or editing, it takes a group of people to execute a project efficiently and our students master these skills before they complete our program.

Confidence

We spend a lot of time helping our kids to come out of their shell and show up with confidence not only in themselves, but in the work they are producing.

Time Management

Like many creative professions, time management is a critical part of all of our courses allowing our students to work at a time that is convenient for them while still hitting their deadlines.

Professionalism

Knowing proper etiquitte whether working with photography clients or in the studio with the hottest artist, we emphasize teaching professionalism to our kids to help them get ahead and stay ahead.

Communication

Knowing how to communicate effectively whether you are talking to teachers or in job interviews, we work with students on proper communication skills to grow their portfolio's.

Initiative

Our students who step up and take initiative are rewarded within our community. As we teach our kids to monetize their skills, we are showing them that "just do it" is more than a slogan for NIKE®, but also a direct path to success.
